NEW DOCKET EVENT EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY - SUGGESTION OF DEATH: Effective immediately, if you need to inform the court of a debtor(s) death, please utilize the new event - Suggestion of Death. The new event can be found in the Bankruptcy>Notices menu category. NEXTGEN CM/ECF UPGRADE: The upgrade to NextGen is complete. For information on NextGen, please visit our website. ECF SECURITY UPDATE: The Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona has updated security protocols on CM/ECF to enhance security. This update disabled support for TLS 1.1 and now only supports TLS 1.2. Please confirm your browser software is current and any local/vendor applications used with CM/ECF are also updated to support these requirements. PDF FILE SIZE INCREASE: Effective immediately, the byte size of PDF documents filed in CM/ECF has increased from 7MB to 10MB. AMENDED PETITION TO PROCEED UNDER SUBCHAPTER V - NEW DOCKET EVENT EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2020: As of October 1, 2020, if you are in a regular Chapter 11, and will be filing an amended petition electing to now proceed under Subchapter V, please utilize the new event set forth. The new event added to the CM/ECF pick list is titled Amended Petition to Proceed Under Subchapter V. It is located in the Bankruptcy>Other menu category. This event is to be used when changing from Chapter 11 to Chapter 11 Subchapter V. It is not to be used to convert a case from any other chapter to a Chapter 11 Subchapter V. FLATTEN PDF FORMS - NOTICE FOR ELECTRONIC FILERS - CHANGE IN PROCEDURES EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY: Effective immediately, when using a PDF fillable form, the user must lock or "flatten" the PDF document after completing the form fields to ensure the document can be viewed on all devices and to prevent other users from manipulating or editing the information. The document filed and stored in CM/ECF cannot be altered once it has been filed; however, flattening the form will prevent any user from saving the document and editing the form fields. ADVERSARY CASE OPENING - CHANGE IN PROCEDURES EFFECTIVE JUNE 26, 2017: As of June 26, 2017, there are new procedural changes for filing adversary cases. Any parties initiating an adversary case must upload the complaint at the time the adversary case is being filed in CM/ECF. Please note that in the past, the Clerk's Office permitted the filing of the complaint at some point after the adversary case was initiated. Effective June 26, 2017, the complaint must be filed within the adversary case opening event, and the appropriate fee paid, if applicable. NOTICE OF REDACTION RESPONSIBILITY - CHANGE IN PROCEDURES EFFECTIVE MAY 14, 2015: Effective immediately this notice provides a change in the clerk's office procedures as it relates to redaction of personal identifiers. The Court reminds electronic filers of the responsibility to redact sensitive information in any document filed with the Court in compliance with Fed. R. Bankr. P. 9037. Any personal information not redacted is available to the public. The following personal data identifiers should be partially redacted from all pleadings, documents and attachments: Social Security or taxpayer identification numbers; dates of birth; names of minor children; and financial account numbers. To the extent electronic filers rely on redaction by the clerk's office, please be advised effective immediately staff will no longer provide this review and the court will no longer issue notices advising of the same. CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATIONS RESTRICTED ON SUNDAYS. Credit card payment authorization are not available each Sunday from 1:00am till 3:00am ET. The company that handles the Internet Payment Process, (Pay.gov), has set aside this recurring weekly block of time to perform system maintenance and enhancements. CM/ECF STANDARD MAINTENANCE WINDOW ON SATURDAY MORNINGS EFFECTIVE JUNE 6, 2020 The U.S. Bankruptcy Court of Arizona implements a standard maintenance window on Saturday mornings from 5 am - 9 am MST. During this time, CM/ECF (Case Management/Electronic Case Filing) and related systems may be unavailable due to systems maintenance and upgrades. |
